Privacy notice
Here is a short summary of how the personal information you submit will be held and used:
- The personal data being collected is: whether you are a student or representing a student union, and the subject of your qualification if you are a student, the institution where you are undertaking this qualification, or where the student union is based
- Your personal information will be used to:
- invite you to attend a roundtable to give feedback that will inform our early policy development on the new free speech complaints scheme; and,
- invite you to participate in the consultation later on this year. You may opt out of being contacted with regards the consultation.
- The Data Controller of the personal information you submit will be Office for Students.
- The legal basis for processing your personal information for the roundtables is legitimate interests in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR.
- Information collected through SmartSurvey is stored on secure servers in the UK or EU and does not leave Europe at any point.
- It will be retained until the invitation to provide feedback as part of the formal consultation has been sent out and then securely disposed of.
