Part 1: Proposals for new initial condition C5: Treating students fairly

The Office for Students (OfS) is reviewing its approach to assessing providers seeking registration.

The consultation is structured as follows:

  • Introduction
  • Part 1: a new initial condition relating to treating students fairly (condition C5)
  • Part 2: a new initial condition relating to effective governance (condition E7)
  • Part 3: changes to the requirements for a registration application.

There are separate surveys for each part of the consultation. This survey relates to Part 1: Proposals for new initial condition C5: Treating students fairly.

Respondents can read and respond on each part separately and can comment on all, or some, of the questions.

Who is this survey for?

 

  • Anyone with an interest in consumer and student protection, or governance in English higher education.
  • Anyone with an interest in the OfS’s registration process.
